The Kyosho OT-99 parts bag contains the Wing Stay Set for the Lazer ZX. It mounts to the rear gearbox. Later Lazers used the UMW-1 wing stay, mounted on the shock stay.
Alternatives
A modified wing stay is also part of the new OT-268 sprue for the 2022 Optima Mid Legendary Series re-release. It is perfectly compatible with the vintage Lazer ZX gearbox, no modifications necessary but you will need to buy the screws and nuts to mount it. It comes with the re-release Mid bumper as well (same as OT-93).
