The Kyosho OT-268 parts bag contains the Wing Stay & Bumper for the rereleased Kyosho Optima range, but these are compatible with the Lazer ZX parts.
- All wing stay parts with spacers (can be used to replace old part number OT-99)
- Bumper (old part number OT-93)
- Stabilizer ball ends
- Body posts
While the bumper part is almost an exact replica of the OT-93 and indiscernible unless you put them side to side, the wing part is quite different but perfectly compatible and can be mounted to the old Optima and Lazer gearboxes.
- The wing stay sides have a bend at the top, so they sit further apart
- The center spacer has recesses to fit nuts, so you will mount the wing using bolts rather than pins
- Two different spacers are provided to put the wing higher up
- The center spacer screws to the sides, allowing adjustment of the angle at the rear only
So while the older OT-99 allowed putting the wing higher and adjusting the angle through changing the position of the wing post parts, this is now done using the center spacer and the different spacers. The older parts are easier and faster to adjust.
