The Kyosho LA-9 parts bag contains the thrust bearing as used on the Lazer ZX. It sits on the layshaft between the rear drive pulley and the e-clip.
LA-9 is hard to come by, but measured from a brand new bag, the dimensions are:
- 4mm shaft holes
- plastic part that contains the thrust balls: 10mm diameter
- thrust balls itself are 1.6mm (1/16 inch)
- thrust washers measure 1.3mm thickness
- thrust washers have a diameter of 7,5mm
- total width of assembled part is
- 1.3 mm thrust washer
- 1.6 thrust balls
- 1.3 mm thrust washer
- so the total is 4.2mm width
The width is important for a correct, straight alignment of the rear belt pulley.
