The Kyosho LA-31 parts bag features the rear bulkhead and upper deck posts
- 1 x middle upper deck mount
- 1 x middle upper deck mount collar
- 1 x rear upper deck mount
- 1 x rear bulkhead
- 1 x mount collar for the throttle servo (front) mechanical speed controller (Lazer ZX-Sport)
Upon a crash, the rear bulkhead can break when the car rolls over and the rear shock tower is impacted backwards.
The upper deck mount collar is used when using the old 7.2V battery packs. For 8.4 volt packs, it was ommitted and the metal LA-23 Upper Deck Post is used, providing more space on the left side of the chassis.
Current lipo setups often either feature a shorty tray (mounted where a stickpack would be mounted) or place a battery on one side of the chassis. In this case, often the upper deck mount collar is omitted again, to provide more options in terms of space for the battery or the electronics (receiver and esc).
